This practice offers the following services in addition to the General Medical Services.
The following services are available at Coedpoeth Health Centre by appointment only: Chronic Disease Management. Well Person Screening.
WELL PERSONS
We encourage all patients over the age of 15 to attend for regular Health Checks including
Contraceptive Services and Sexual Health Advice.
PATIENTS 16 - 74
Registered patients aged 16 - 74 who have not been seen for three years may request and receive a three year review.
PATIENTS 75 and over
Registered patients aged 75 years and over who have not been seen in the last twelve months may request and receive an annual review.
MATERNITY SERVICES
This practice likes to offer shared care with the Maternity Services at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital up to 34 weeks of pregnancy - details can be obtained from the receptionist

SMEAR TESTS
Routine smear tests are offered to all women between the ages of 20 & 64 years of age as advised by Cervical Screening Wales guidelines
BABY CLINIC
Dr. (Mrs) Banerjee is qualified to look after your babies and children and runs a clinic dedicated to them on a Wednesday morning from 11:00 by appointment, and Health Visitors are available for advice and weight
monitoring..
IMMUNISATIONS
Childhood immunisations are carried out by Dr S Banerjee and both practice nurses at the Baby Clinic at Coedpoeth Surges at the ages recommended by the Health Authority.
Before your child is immunised it is advisable to discuss the details with your Doctor, Practice Nurse or Health Visitor.
COMPLIMENTARY THERAPY
Our practice nurse Karen is also qualified in Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage. which is available as a private service in the comfort of your own home.

TRAVEL HEALTH
We are able to provide inoculations and Travel Advice required for trips abroad in the surgery.
Please contact surgery 6 weeks before travel if possible.
MINOR SURGERY
In order to prevent unnecessary waiting for hospital appointments. Minor ops such as small lumps or cysts, or in-growing toe nails can be removed in the surgery.
There is a wart clinic every 4-6 weeks.
